EXPRESS: by definition, a safe and extremely fast-action double rifle, thanks to the side by side barrels, instantly ready for the second shot. Normally, this feature traditionally adds weight, the Kodiak Survivalist X was meticulously engineered to preserve both responsiveness and effortless field carry.  We worked to find a solution by developing the Kodiak Survivalist model as a compact express rifle chambered in the powerful .44 Remington Magnum.  This well-known caliber, intended primarily for handguns, features shorter barrels that, combined with the compact size of the action, make the overall weight to just 2.6 kg. The X Model is designed with slighty shorter barrels than the traditional Kodiak Survivalist, at only 16" in length, with an overall length of 32 1/2". The X Model, also called the Black Marine model features a matte Stainless finish on the receiver and barrels, built to withstand the harshest elements and cold weather temperatures without rusting. The stock is wood, with a black rubber overmolding to prevent finish loss and give the rifle a positive grip to the touch.
