Henry built and Introduced the Explorer series in the X Model to offer a shorter barrel length rifle, built for daily use, and rugged by Cerekoting these rifles in Bronze Cerekote finish. The Explorer is perfect for the guy that wants a well built Henry rifle that won't rust, and also perfect to throw a can on and still is a short overall length. This rifle is chambered in .30-30 Win, perfect for Hog Hunting, Deer, and other large predators. We will be offering this as a build with various optics, thermals and suppressors. Read on for how we custom build this rifle as a tactical/hunting setup.
Custom Build Information:
For this custom Tactical Build we used the New Henry H009X Model Explorer chambered in .30-30 Winchester, and build parts from Ranger Point Precision. The stock and Forearm utilize the MAS MLOK, which sets this gun up perfectly with a full length Pic Rail on the top side, and MLOK all around. For the stock we used a Ranger Point pistol grip stock, and added the side quiver which holds 6 additional rounds. Up front on the MLOK rail we added another quiver, giving you plenty of go to Firepower at your disposal. For a small upgrade we added the 30-30 Ranger Point takedown screw on the lever, so dis-assembly can be done out in the field, by hand if necessary, and without tools. The stock is the Rootbeer color, which is a sick look with the Bronze Cerekoted gun! On the muzzle we used a Silencerco ASR Muzzle Brake, which allows the shooter to quick attach and detach the Silencerco Omega 36M Suppressor. This build is without the suppressor, we are offering the build with it as well. For the Optic we chose a New Eotech EXPS3-2Tan Holographic weapons sight. This sight gives the shooter multiple dots within the reticle for shooting at 200+ yards. The color scheme is lit!
