With its shortened 16.5″ barrel, threaded muzzle, and classic walnut-and-blued-steel construction, the H10 Protector Carbine delivers serious capability in a form that is easy to live with.
Chambered in .45-70 Government, this rifle carries a level of authority that few cartridges can match. It is a round long respected for its deep penetration, decisive performance, and ability to handle large game and dangerous animals alike. In the Protector configuration, that power is paired with compact handling, allowing the rifle to move easily through doorways, vehicles, brush, and tight terrain.
The shorter barrel makes the H10 quicker to shoulder and easier to maneuver in close quarters. It feels natural when brought up from a sling, from behind a truck seat, or from a resting place near the door. This is a rifle meant to be accessible, not tucked away.
The threaded muzzle allows for suppressor use, reducing blast and softening recoil impulse. That means greater comfort, less disturbance around buildings or livestock, and better control during follow-up shots. It is a practical feature that enhances usability, not complexity.
Custom Build Information:
For this build we used the Ranger Point Precision Pew View Root Beer Stock with Pistol Grip, and Tactical For-arm. The For-arm has an integrated Carbon Fiber cover that fully covers the barrel and uses an integrated Pic Rail for an extended Optics Plate. The lengthy plate can be utilized when running a LPVO and a micro red dot on a 45 degree, or running a LPVO with a clip on thermal, or running a Holographic Weapons Sight with a Magnifier, the extra rail length can be useful. The cover over the barrel gives the shooter the ability to fully grip with their support hand in a thumb over bore stance, liked by a ton of professional tactical shooters. On the stock we placed a Quiver from Ranger point, that can be flipped to the left side or even mounted onto the MLOK rail very easily. Up front on the MLOK Rail we also mounted a 6 round MLOK Ranger Side Quiver. This rifle can be setup for a left handed shooter, let us know when purchasing if you need it setup that way. This rifle would be the perfect gun for Home Protection Tactical Application, a sweet Truck Gun setup, or Back packing/Camping Gun where Bears might be an issue. The looks and design will surely make everyone that likes guns Jealous! You can customize the rifle, add any optic/dot that you want and there are countless other mlok accessories that you can add to the for-arm. The rear Henry sight was removed, for mounting the Pic Rail. A custom RPP Takedown knob was added at the lever for easy disassembly of the rifle bolt and lever by hand, for cleaning.
