Henry built and Introduced the Explorer series in the X Model to offer a shorter barrel length rifle, built for daily use, and rugged by Cerekoting these rifles in Bronze Cerekote finish. The Explorer is perfect for the guy that wants a well built Henry rifle that won't rust, and also perfect to throw a can on and still is a short overall length. This rifle is chambered in .45/70 Gov't, perfect for Big Game, Deer, Elk, Bear and other large animals We are offering this build in a few different setups.
Custom Build Information:
For this custom Tactical Build we used the New Henry H009X Model Explorer chambered in .45/70 Gov't, and build parts from Ranger Point Precision. The stock and Forearm utilize the MAS MLOK, which sets this gun up perfectly with a full length Pic Rail on the top side, and MLOK all around. The color is called Rootbeer. For the stock we used a Ranger Point pistol grip stock, and added the side quiver which holds 6 additional rounds. Up front on the MLOK rail we added another quiver, giving you plenty of go to Firepower at your disposal. The barrel is threaded, so we started by using a Silencer ASR Muzzle Brake, which will accept the Silencerco Hybrid 46M Suppressor. For the optic we selected the Eotech FDE EXPS3-2Tan, a perfectly matched Holographic sight for quick target acquisition. For a small accent we used a RPP Takedown, Screw at the Lever.
