This rifle has a Billet Receiver, and a Full Length MLXS Rail system, all Cerekoted in a Tungsten finish. We used this rifle for the base gun in our Custom Build.
Custom Build Details
We wanted to build a Gold Level, Top Notch Fighting Rifle in the AR15 Platform, so we have to go with the LWRC! This gun has a sexy spiral fluted barrel, with a 1 in 7" twist rate, capable of hitting targets consistently out to 700 yards, with the correct Load. We selected a Vortex Strike Eagle 1 to 8 power scope, the perfect option for those shots at 100 yards, and zoom it in for those extended Precision shots out at 600+. The optic is illuminated, to make target acquisition fast, and help your eyes in low light condition. It is compatible with Night Vision with multiple brightness settings. The reticle is a First Focal Plane, so as you zoom in the crosshairs zoom as well, giving you an easier time when calculating the bullet drop at a distance.
For Close Quarters, we wanted to use a reliable Red Dot, that was light weight, but also not needing batteries. The Vortex Defended was a perfect small red dot for the job! This runs on Solar or Battery, giving you a rifle package that if crap hits and all batteries are dead, you can still use the scope standard crosshairs and the red dot will be there. Plus Vortex gives you a lifetime warranty no questions asked!
