FOR SALE - Remington 7600 “Big Woods Bucks” 35 Whelen Rifle, Number 49 of 100 in the Final Run of Big Woods Bucks Guns!

For sale The Firearm Files is selling a Rare Remington 7600 Carbine in 35 Whelen! This rifle was built in the last build cycle Remington did of the 7600, and is stamped Big Woods Bucks for the special edition run, number 49 of 100. This gun has a black synthetic stock, with a 3 round mag, pump action design, open sights mounted on the barrel, 18.5 inch barrel, and a drilled and tapped receiver. I have had alot of questions on a couple things, the magazine, and the black synthetic stock. At the very end of Remington producing the 7600 rifles, they were building 100 of these guns exactly as shown for Big Woods Bucks. Big Woods Bucks wanted to do a run of 100, and then they were planning a second run of 100 of the black synthetic stock variant. This rifle was in the first run, however Remington closed up shop and only provided Big Woods Bucks with 50 of these guns. So this is one of the last guns in the Black synthetic stock run, also making it hard to find because they had produced runs of the Walnut wood stock variant but only got into the first cycle of the Black Synthetic stock run before the project was shut down. In regards to the magazine, which I have received questions on, this is the factory magazine that was sent by Remington with the rifle, and is marked 35 Whelen and other similar calibers. My consigner of this gun, has another one of them, numbered closer to the beginning of the cycle, same gun and the magazine is identical. He has made no modifications to the rifle since purchasing it. I hope that this helps answer the history of the rifle and magazine questions that you may have!
