Great bore and strong action, Rifling is present but shows usual light wear from age and use, Barrel retains 75% original blued finish turned to patina, Receiver shows heavy finish loss mainly in the white from handling, Receiver shows few faint areas of original case colors but mainly in the white, Stock and forend are solid free of cracks and breaks with usual light handling marks from use for age of rifle, Good solid metal crescent butt plate.
