The Springfield 1898 Krag Jorgensen Rifle was one of the first Repeating Bolt Action arms in 30 caliber adopted by the US Military. This rifle was built in the end of the production of these guns, late in 1904.
Condition: We would rate this gun at 95% for condition, it is in good condition. The LOP looks to have been shimmed to lengthen it, the butt plate is possibly missing, there are 2 holes for screws. This is a late production rifle, with all original bluing. The bore looks strong, with good lands and grooves visible.
