For Sale at The Firearm Files we have a New Springfield Armory M14 Custom Build with the EBR Chassis System from Sage International, Custom Mount from Sadlak Industries and topped with a Eotech Vudu 5-25x50 FFP Scope with Illuminated Reticle. This rifle is the Perfect, Fully Authentic rifle build of the M14. We put this build together, similar to the M14 builds that were used in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, we wanted to build this exactly for authenticity, while providing the shooter with a dangerously accurate rifle!
Custom Builder Notes: When I built this rifle I wanted to get the most accuracy out of the gun. I started the build with a Springfield M1A National Match rifle barrel and action. I dropped the action into the Sage International EBR stock. This rifle action is silky smooth in the stock! There is significant gun-smithing and work involved in building this rifle out. For optics mounting I used the Sadlak Industries Steel scope mount for the Airborne EBR stocks fit. The bipod is a Harris SBR 6-9" Low Profile, with the leveling feature. I used a Pic Rail adapter to attach the Bipod. On top of the rifle I wanted an optic with excellent glass, but not weighing a ton plus with the added benefit of being shorter, with the thought of attaching a clip on thermal. I chose the New Eotech Vudu because I liked the power for long range, but also that you can back the power off to 5x, and dimensionally the scope is short measuring only 11.2". The reticle is impressive, we chose the MD3 MRAD which does illuminate with the press of a button. The parallax on this scope is impressive, from 45 yards to 1000 then infinity. For rings I used Warne low profile 34mm, in all black to keep the look sexy and all matching, and also to avoid logos and anything flashy.
