The Stevens 5000 was an early version of the American-made, side-by-side, boxlock double-barrel shotgun, also known as the J. Stevens Springfield 5000, which became the Stevens 5100 around 1931 and then the popular Stevens 311 after 1940. Produced in the early 1920s, this utility-grade shotgun featured a double trigger, a boxlock action, and was available in gauges like the 12 gauge and .410 gauge.

The recoil pad is all original, as pictured. The barrels are smooth bore, with light wear visible. This would make an excellent shotgun for bird hunting and small game. Look at the pictures for the condition, this is eligible for C&R licenses.
