For Sale at The Firearm Files we have a Winchester 94AE rifle chambered in .30-30 Winchester! This rifle we believe to be built in 1994, there is specific engraving on the receiver that is 1894 - 1994. The serial number is 6122286, if you are able to give us any more details on this gun let us know. The 90's there is very little info online for specific dated years on serial numbers. The model 94AE added a push button safety to the rifle, still maintaining the top ejection for the model 94s. This gun is drilled and tapped to accept scope rings. The recoil pad looks to be aftermarket, by Limbsaver. There are 2 minor flaws, the limb saver pad is just ever so slightly crooked, and only noticed by looking from the bottom of the rifle. This may be as easy as loosening the 2 stock bolts and straightening it. There is a minor scratch on the receiver right side as pictured, below the engraved years. That's all that we can find, the bore is in excellent condition with solid lands and grooves! The gun does not appear to have been hunted with, the wood stock doesn't show any scratches or wear. The bluing is perfect and original minus that small scratch as pictured. Condition we rate at 99%.
