Model 70 Alaskan Features
Satin finish Monte Carlo Walnut stock with cut checkering places your eye in perfect alignment with open sights or a scope
Alloy one-piece bottom metal adds rigidity for better accuracy
Polished metal surfaces add style and elegance
Forged steel receiver with integral recoil lug is bedded front and rear to eliminate shifts in zero for exceptional long-range accuracy
Folding adjustable rear sight with hooded brass bead front gets you on target quickly
Custom Build Notes: For this Build we used a New Winchester model 70 Alaskan rifle in .300 Win Mag, and paired it off with a Zeiss Conquest V4 Scope. This scope is 6-24x50mm, and very lightweight for its size. The tube is 30mm, which brings in a ton of light and for low light hunting situations, the reticle does light up nicely in the center of the crosshairs! Four mounting on the receiver we used a Leupold single piece Baackcountry base, and Warne Maxima 30mm Low Scope Rings. This rifle comes up nicely and is a perfect balance and match!
